Care that protects

every child

One system. Many partners. Every child.

Social care & child protection

Protecting children in Abu Dhabi is a shared responsibility and in the social care sector, that responsibility is carried by many hands working together.

Dama Al-Aman in Social Care brings together a network of government entities, specialist services, and community organizations including the Department of Community Development (DCD), Family Care Authority (FCA), Social Support Authority (SSA), Zayed Authority for People of Determination (ZHO), Ma'an, and others to deliver a coordinated response to child protection.

When a child or family is in need, no single entity can address every dimension of the situation. This program ensures that social care professionals across all organizations are trained, coordinated, and equipped to prevent and identify risk, respond with care, and refer with confidence so that no child falls through the gaps.
