Protecting children through care

About the program

Dama Al-Aman in the health sector reflects Abu Dhabi’s commitment to making every healthcare setting a place where children are safe, seen, and protected.

Healthcare professionals are often among the first to notice when something may be wrong, whether through an unexplained injury, a bruise that does not match the explanation, or a child showing signs of fear or distress.

Across hospitals, clinics, and primary healthcare centers, the health sector plays a vital role in identifying, reporting, and responding to child maltreatment, while supporting the recovery of affected children and families.
